Lightning Sign Garrett Williamson for 2018/2019 Season

(London, ON) - The London Lightning are pleased to announce that we have signed Canadian small forward Garrett Williamson for the 2018/2019 season. Williamson is the former 2018 Playoff Most Valuable Player, where he helped lead the Lightning to their second consecutive NBLC Championship.
Last season, Williamson set multiple NBL and Lightning records. Williamson became the first Canadian to reach 2,000 career points, which also landed him into 10th spot on the All-Time Career points scored list. Williamson also took over as the Lightning's All-Time Career scorer, totalling 2,031 points in his tenure.
"New group, new challenge." Said Williamson. "London has been great to me, and I heard no team has won three in a row. I'm here to help achieve that."
