January 9, 2023 - National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada)
London Lightning News Release
(London, ON) - The London Lightning of the National Basketball League of Canada announced Monday the re-signing of Canadian Guard, and Finals MVP, Terry Thomas.
The 6'4 Thomas joins the Bolts for a third straight season and is coming off arguably one of his best seasons to date in the NBLC where he averaged 17.2 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 21 games. The 2022 season culminated with Thomas being named both the NBL Canada Sixth Man of the Year and Canadian of the Year while also being named the Finals MVP.
"Terry was Finals MVP for a reason. He was great for us in the regular season but turned up a few notches when it mattered in the playoffs. He's been around this league a long time and is still in his prime." - Head Coach Doug Plumb
The Lightning training camp is now underway but more players are expected to join camp and be announced in the coming days. Lightning single-game tickets go on sale Wednesday, January 11th.
