London Lightning News Release

The Halifax Rainmen used home court advantage to tie the series against the London Lightning and force a deciding game. Halifax fans witnessed a 93-85 vic- tory in Game 4 of the NBL Canada series.

"In the third quarter we didn't shoot the ball well," explained Coach Micheal Ray Richardson. "We played about 7 or 8 minutes without getting to the basket.

We shot 36% from the field while they shot 41% and once again we had 17 turnovers,"

This defeat by the Rainmen brought the Lightning to their first back to back game loss. The 3rd quarter has been London's undoing in both road games. De- spite the Lightning having 5 players in double digits, led by Gabe Freeman with 21 points and 21 rebounds, they could not stop the combined effort of the Rainmen to win this game.

This Championship Series will come to an end with a Game 5 at the John Labatt Centre at 2pm on Sunday. The Lightning encourage all fans to wear white in an attempt to "White Out" the John Labatt Centre.

Finals all-star will be named following the game, as well as Coach of the Year (which will be awarded to the NBL Champions team coach).
