
Lightning Drop Game to Hurricanes

(LONDON, ON) The London Lightning dropped tonight's game to the Halifax Hurricanes 107-102. This comes as the first loss for new head coach Elliott Etherington.
A back and forth game, the Lightning and Hurricanes swapped leads multiple times throughout.
Mo Bolden lead the Lightning with 26 points on the night. Garrett Williamson added 20 points along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds while completing all his 3 point shots. Kirk Williams Jr. put up 11 points off the bench along with 6 rebounds. Xavier moon finished with 13 points and AJ Gaines had 11.
Head Coach Elliott Etherington knows he team needed to better, but was happy with the take aways this game showed. "We had a lot of good stops on defense. I think we forced three or four shot clock violations."
The Lightning's next home game will come on Friday, December 21, 2018 where they will take on the KW Titans. Be sure to wear your ugliest Christmas Sweater to the game.
