(Halifax, NS) - The London Lightning were defeated in game 6 by the Halifax Hurricanes on Thursday night. It was a hard-fought game with the Lighting looking to close the door on the series and the Hurricanes looking to stay alive. In the end it was the rebounding that was the difference with the Hurricanes out rebounding the Lighting 59-36. 28-9 on the offensive end. now both teams have a winner take all game 7 tomorrow night for the NBL Championship. 112-101 was the final. The best of 7 series is now tied 3-3 and will be settled in a game 7 tomorrow night Friday May 18th 2018.
Garrett Williamson led the way with 27 points, Kirk Williams Jr. scored 22 points. Julian Boyd had 17 and Doug Herring Jr. finished with 12.
The next London Lightning game is Friday, May 18th at 6 P.M. EST against the Halifax Hurricanes for game 7 of a best of 7 series.
