
Lightning Defeat Windsor, Head to NBLC Finals

(WINDSOR, Ontario) - Friday night at the WFCU Centre, the London Lightning beat the Windsor Express 107-88 in Game 6 of their best-of-seven playoff series.
London wins the series 4-2 and will move on to the NBLC Finals.
Akeem Scott led Lightning scorers with 25 points while Akeem Wright had
21 points to go along with seven assists and eight rebounds. Ed Horton also contributed 20 points in the win.
London led the majority of the game, taking a comfortable 15-point lead into the fourth quarter that was never in danger.
"I'm really happy for the guys, they've worked very, very hard to get to this point. We've had a lot of ups and downs with a lot of challenges," said coach Kyle Julius. "Every last guy contributed to this win and I think this is special for the organization because there's so many people invested in this team. To be able to take a trip to the finals together, playing some of our best basketball of the year is exciting."
London will take on the Halifax Hurricanes in the NBLC Finals. The best-of-seven series will be a 2-3-2 format, with the first and last two games being played in Halifax.
