Marvin Phillips dunks for the London Lightning

(London, ON) - The London Lightning are pleased to announce that we have signed 2 time NBL Canada Champion and former NBL Canada finals MVP Marvin Phillips for the 2018-2019 NBL Canada Season. Phillips is going into his fifteenth year of professional basketball and his fifth with the London Lightning. He split time last year between playing pro in Uruguay and Argentina. In 137 career games for the Lightning Marvin has an average of 15.6 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Marvin will bring veteran leadership and great teamwork to a young and talented roster. Marvin will also serve as an assistant coach along with his duties as a player to help the Lightning in every way he can.
