Liberty to Host School Supply Drive

NEW YORK, NY -AUGUST 14, 2013- The New York Liberty and the Garden of Dreams Foundation will host a School Supply Drive prior to the Liberty vs. Washington Mystics game on Friday, August 16 at 7:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to bring unused school supply items such as pens/pencils, markers, notebooks, scissors, and rulers. Collection bins will be set up outside the Prudential Center box office for fans to drop off their donated items. The first 300 fans to donate unused school supplies will receive a special New York Liberty gift item.

All school supplies that are collected on August 16 will be delivered and distributed at the ‘Newark Now Back to School Book Bag Giveaway' on August 30th at Bears Baseball Stadium in Newark, NJ.
