SUMMER SERIES: Tonight's game will bring the season series between the Liberty and Sky to a close ... With the victory on July 11 at MSG, New York secured the season series win ... It is the third time in the all-time series history that the Liberty came away victorious.

LAST TIME AROUND: Cappie Pondexter registered 30 points to help New York battle back from a 13 point deficit on July 11 at The Garden ... The Liberty snapped a two-game skid by scoring the victory and extended its active win streak over the Sky to four games.

TOP GUNS: Despite a fifth place ranking in the East, New York has been one of the WNBA's top shooting threats thus far this season ... The Liberty is gunning .371 from long range, led by Leilani Mitchell (.424) and Cappie Pondexter (.430); and is shooting a league-best .833 from the charity stripe, led by Taj McWilliams-Franklin (.855) and Pondexter (.871).

LITTLE LIB COMING UP BIG: Leilani Mitchell became just the second Liberty player in franchise history to collect seven steals in a single game in the July 15 win over the Mystics ... The only other player to accomplish the feat is Liberty legend Teresa Weatherspoon ... New York's starting point guard has posted in double figures five times this summer, a career best ... At 5-5, she is the shortest player on the franchise's all-time roster.

CRUNCH TIME IN CONFERENCE: Beginning on July 11, the Liberty is facing eight Conference opponents in its next 10 match-ups ... In Conference, New York currently won one series (tonight's versus the Sky), leads in one series, trails in two series and is tied in one series ... The Liberty is 5-4 when playing the role of host and 2-4 on the road versus Conference foes.
