"Let Them Play" Event Canceled

The "Let Them Play" event that was to be hosted by the Western New York Flash of the WPS on November 13, 2011 was approved by the Section 6 and all participants, but there are new concerns with the Section 6 and the repercussions that would jeopardize compliance through the state. The WNY Flash along with Sahlen Sports park would never want to jeopardize any high school athlete the opportunity to play at the High School level.
"We are deeply disappointed that we will not be able to afford these players the opportunity to play one last time and did all of the due diligence on our part in order to get the event approved," WNY Flash representative AJ Cecere said.
