
Legends Win 96-47 Over the Ghostriders

The Canton Civic Center proved to be the best place in town, as the Legends explosive offense provided quite a show as they scored 96 points Friday night.
On his sixth touchdown catch of the night Mount Union graduate Randall Knapp grabbed a pass from Dan Larhlam to break the single game scoring record. This grab is also a personal, and league setting touchdown catch. The night provided to be quite exciting, as the Legends only led 13-6 at the end of the first quarter.
From there it provided to be all the Legends as they went off and won 96-47. The defense put on quite an effort as well providing the offense with four turnovers in the first half alone.
Michael Parker had an interception in the second quarter. While Jerome Moss picked off another one late in fourth quarter with game well in hand. Stud linebacker Marques Hayes put pressure on the quarterback all night while providing key pass breakups.
Eric Rector and Randall Knapp continued their consecutive touchdown streak this weekend. Rector scored two and Knapp with a record breaking six touchdowns. Newcomer Damien Thomas added the offensive show with four touchdown grabs of his own.
Superstar quarterback Dan Larhlam ended the night throwing for twelve touchdowns, and added another on the ground. This win marked the first for new head coach Brian Young and also marked the first of a new winning era for the Legends.
