Canton Legends News Release
Just an update if you have an interest on the Canton Legends. We are in our 4th season and have a home game this Saturday night at the Canton Civic Center against the Augusta Colts at 7p with Terry's Tire Town and College Night.
The Colts are staying overnight at the Hampton Inn in Massillon and will visit our landmark the Professional Football Hall of Fame during the day.
We have a number of things once again planned for the day. WHBC will be live at the Civic Center, with the Stark Sports Live show from 10-noon. Ohio State Inflatables will also be at the Civic Center from 10-12p. Bring your kids, have some fun and meet some players, coaches, dance team members and friends.
Donations can be given to the Junior Youth Research Foundation. Danielle Gentelie is a member of our dance team, with a 16 month old son James, who has Youth Diabetes.
As far as the team, we look to get our first win of the season this Saturday and have had a tremendous amount of interest. With over 1000 who have visited the eBay site, several have asked for more information and 38 have put us on their watch list. We have had interest from New York, Hartville and a few others.
Come on out and see one of the best kept secret in Stark County, watch great football and get into the game. Our fans are great and the atmosphere is electrfying. Catch a ball, keep it... Catch a player and throw him back!
