Canton Legends News Release
The Canton Legend's outside the box way of get exposure to sell/partners the team has been an extremely good way to tell our story.
With almost 1700 looks, ebay has been a way of choice for many items to sell, but a football team is pretty unusual. Being in the Hall of Fame City in Canton Ohio, this has created a bit more discussion to the mix. Some believe the HOF should get more involved. We are situated in the best football area in the country.
In all, the feed back from many have been very positive, with a few serious inquiries. We will know Tuesday at 10:30a how serious many looks have been. We will all know Tuesday am where the Canton Legends are headed or what will be next for the team and ownership. We are very encouraged with a number of discussion we have had with various groups of interest. One thing for sure, this is the best thing that could have happened. The City and County knows we are serious about getting the team situated with new owners, locations, partners, groups of investors with plenty of tire kickers.
The Legends lost another close one this weekend in front of a great loud crowd of just under 2000. We have not finished well this year at all to date. We should be 3-1. If you have not come to a game, it is very fast pased and exciting, allowing hundreds of kids to get involved in the action. With needing over 150 people to put on an event, we work each week on creating a faith and family environment. We still miss the mark from time to time, but continue to get better each week.
We will want to make a few more changes and I think we will be good to go on the field. We have won the championship in 06 and have not yet found the missing chemistry between the players. Our local talent continues to get better each week. Our next game is this week at Huntington West Virginia at 7p. Our next home game is Saturday, May 10, Buckeyes/Browns night. Where any Buckeys or Browns shirts and receive $2 off any ticket.
If you are in the position to assist the Legends and want to get involved with a great organization, now is the time. CantonLegends.com
