Canton Legends News Release
The Canton Legends of the Atlantic Indoor Football League have announced the team's first home game at the Canton Memorial Civic Center will be moved to April 17 at 5:05 p.m. against the Raleigh Rebels.
Team owner Andrew Haines confirmed the rest of the team's 2005 AIFL schedule remains unchanged and that support for the team is still growing in the area.
"Fans in Canton are excited to have the AIFL and the Legends here," said Haines, who also serves as the league's president and moved the league's front office to Canton. "This city has welcomed us with open arms and we will do everything possible to maintain the strong ties and relationships we have developed here for many seasons to come."
"This league is beginning to get noticed and we only hope the level of attention we are receiving does nothing but grow, for us and our league cities, both now and those to come in our future development."
