Legends Improve to 14-3 with 115-111 Road Win Over Battle Creek

The Albany Legends improved to 1-1 on their IBL road trip against the Battle Creek Kinghts, 115-111. The win comes just after a Thursday night OT loss to the Kankakee County Soldiers 119-117 at the Hidden Cove Sports Complex in Kankakee.

The 14-3 Legends, good for second place in the IBL's Continental Division behind the LA Lightning, delivered a well rounded performance with six Legends in double figures. Damone Morris lead the Legends with 25 points, Jermaine Tate dropped in 21, Chris Grant had 19 and Lloyd Johnson, Gordon Klaiber and Deandre Thomas each had 14.

Devino Williams provided 24, William Rice Hampton 23 and Everett Spencer had a double double with 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Knights. The same two teams are in action again tonight, 7pm at the Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek Michigan.
