League Standings Tighten Up

It's the week before Thanksgiving and the top four teams in the Atlantic Coast Hockey League are getting ever closer to each other, at least in the standings. With the Knoxville Ice Bears having won three in a row, and the St. Pete Parrots having won four of five, the top four teams in the league are, currently, only eight points apart:

Orlando Seals..........18 pts
Knoxville Ice Bears...15 pts
St. Pete Parrots.........12 pts
Macon Trax.............10 pts

ACHL Player of the Week

Zac Boyer of the Orlando Seals is the Atlantic Coast Hockey League Player of the Week. In three games played last week, Boyer scored five goals and added five assists for ten points on the week. He has also taken over the ACHL in scoring with ten goals and eighteen assists, good for twenty-eight points.

ACHL Goaltender of the Week

The Knoxville Ice Bears Paolo Della Bella is the ACHL Goaltender of the Week. In his first appearance since returning from Cincinnati of the American Hockey League, the native of Sorengo, Switzerland stopped 37 of 39 shots in the Ice Bears 5-2 victory over Jacksonville on 11/16.
