League concludes successful fall meetings

November 2, 2005 - Intense Football League (Intense) News Release

Port Aransas, TX: After three days of long hours in meetings and several social opportunities to grow inter-team relationships, the Intense Football League has concluded their first annual Fall meetings. The league has elected to hold a minimum of two meetings with the Fall version taking place each year shortly after the season and the second to occur in the Spring around the time of the Superbowl. "There have been a lot of positive results from this weekend regarding rules, the direction of the league and sales and marketing training for the teams," stated league president Chad Dittman, "I believe that each of our franchises is better prepared and more enthusiastic because of these meetings."

A few specific conclusions from the weekend include a first draft of the 2006 schedule, the construction of an operations manual, improvements to the IFL rule book, two teams bidding for the 2006 all-star game, expansion planning, and even a sneak peak at the Laredo franchises ideas for names and logos.

The Intense Football League schedule should be announce before the conclusion of the month with 14-games slated for each team's regular season. The 2006 IFL Spring Meetings will take place in Frisco, Texas the last weekend in January as to prepare for the league's kick-off in April.

The current IFL franchises play in Odessa, San Angelo, Corpus Christi, Frisco, Laredo, Belton, and Lake Charles. Negotiations are still underway in several other markets. Media from all IFL markets are welcome and encouraged to contact the league office with any additional questions or visit the league's web site at www.IntenseFootballLeague.com.
