SAN DIEGO - Brian Latham, the father of San Diego Spirit forward Christine Latham, passed away on Wednesday in Calgary, Canada. The Canadian National Team forward returned home to Calgary on Thursday and will miss Sunday's Spirit game against the Boston Breakers at Torero Stadium. She is expected to rejoin the team next week for the Spirit's match at Carolina. The Spirit will be accepting cards, flowers and condolences for Latham and her family at the team's offices located at 2650 Camino Del Rio N, #200, San Diego, Calif., 92108.
