Last Tornado Home Game of 2005 Packed Full of Fun and Excitement

The last Texas Tornado home game of 2005 will be this Friday, December 9th at 7:30pm at the Dr Pepper StarCenter in Frisco, as the Texas Tornado host the Wichita Falls Wildcats. The first 3,000 fans will receive a FREE Great Outdoors/Texas Tornado Championship Collector's Cup, and following the game will be the annual Skate with the Tornado and Santa. The skating session following the game is FREE if you bring your own skates. Skates can also be rented at the StarCenter for $2.50. Friday night is also the final night for the Small World Toy Drive. Every donor who brings a new, unopened toy will receive a 50% admission coupon to the future 2005-06 Tornado home game. The Tornado and the Wildcats had quite a two-game battle last weekend, with the Tornado winning 5-0 in Frisco Saturday behind two goals from #19 Andrew Harrison and three points from #12 Colin Long, and the Wildcats winning 2-1 in a 13-man Friday shootout in Wichita Falls. Following Friday night's home game against the Wildcats, the Tornado will travel back to Wichita Falls on Saturday, December 10th to wrap up the four game series. Tickets for all home games are available by calling 972-335-9800.

The live video webcast in a new feature for the 2005-06 season where hockey fans will be able to listen to the play-by-play and watch the game live on the internet using the same high-quality video feed that the fans in the arena see on the TornadoVision JumboTron scoreboard, including different camera angles and instant replays of all the action! Fans can purchase a season-long pass, or purchase the video on a game-by-game basis for only $6.95!

*Please Note: The Hicks Blvd. entrance off the Dallas North Tollway will be closed for the Friday, December 9th home game ONLY. If coming to the game off the Tollway, fans are asked to use the Gaylord Blvd., and if coming from Preston Rd. onto Gaylord Blvd., fans are asked to use the Avenue of the Stars entrance.

Tony Curtale Show this Thursday at 7:00pm at Hooters in Frisco

The fifth installment of the Tony Curtale Show will be Thursday, December 8th, at 8:00pm at Hooters in Frisco. Texas Tornado Head Coach and General Manager Tony Curtale will sit down with Texas Tornado Play-by-Play Voice Alex "Cheeks" Kyrias for the half hour show to discuss all matters relating to hockey and the Tornado. The show can be seen live by watching the show live at Hooters in Frisco. Curtale will field a variety of questions including those from fans. There are three ways to ask questions: 1) Fans can email questions to: Ask the Coach. 2) Ask the coach in person at Hooters. 3) Send a Yahoo Instant Message during the broadcast to: tornado_media. This week's topics to be discussed include: the upcoming weekend games against Wichita Falls, the Tornado Christmas break plans, and any possible player moves before the trading deadline on January 15, 2006. Curtale will also be appearing on The Hockey Show with Chuck Cooperstien and Craig Ludwig on 103.3FM ESPN Radio on Thursday, December 8th at 7:00pm from Boston's Restaurant in McKinney. The Next Tony Curtale Show after December will be on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 from Hooters in Frisco.
