Richmond, VA: The inaugural IFL regular season is coming to an end, which means there are only a few days left to vote for this year's Most Valuable Player award. The Indoor Football League has once again partnered with VidSwap.com to showcase the video and statistical highlights of the eighteen nominees for the leagues highest award. Fans can log onto the IFL homepage and select the link for the FAN'S CHOICE MOST VALUABLE PLAYER OF THE YEAR, under the Recent News section, to see what made their favorite players candidates for this season's award. The polls close on Monday morning, July 13th make sure to cast your vote for your favorite player at www.goifl.com/players/mvp/. The nominees are:

QB Chris Dixon-Billings Outlaws

The three-time Offensive Player of the Week has been on a tear all season. Through 13 games he has led the Outlaws to a 12-1 record while leading the IFL in touchdown passes with 66 versus only 7 interceptions.

QB Tommy Jones-El Paso Generals

The signal caller has propelled the expansion Generals to an 11-2 record through their first thirteen games of the season, and has led them to their first playoff appearance. The Quarterback leads the IFL in passing yards per game with 226 and leads the league in passing yards with 2937.

QB James McNear-Omaha Beef

The Beef gunslinger has his team in position to win the Central Division and clinch a first round bye with a win in their final game. The Beef are 10-3 thru 13 games, and McNear is the reason why. As a dual threat quarterback, he has thrown 36 TD passes and ran for 15 more scores.

QB Dixie Wooten-Wichita Wild

The Wild made arguable the best free agent transaction of the season be acquitting the strong armed Wooten late in the season. The Wild Quarterback has thrown for 50 touchdowns versus only 7 interceptions and averages over 182 yards per game thru the air.

QB Terrance Bryant-Sioux Falls Storm

Controversy aside, the Storm offense has been stellar. They rank amongst the top in every offensive category and the man at the helm is Bryant. The Quarterback has thrown for 48 touchdowns versus 12 interceptions thru the teams first 13 games and is fourth in the IFL in passing yards thru week 17.

KR/DB Demarcus James-Alaska Wild

There is no questioning that Demarcus James is a dynamic player. Watching him return kicks is like seeing something out of a video game. In just thirteen games, James has returned 9 kickoffs for touchdowns and is among the league leaders in All-Purpose yards.

WR Lonnie Sanders-Fairbanks Grizzlies

Sanders has arguably the most pure hands in the league. When a ball is the air towards Sanders, it is a safe bet he is going to catch it. His 23 TD catches thru 13 games are 3rd best in the league, and he averages over 13 yards per catch

WR Rob Mager-Rochester Raiders

Mager is the major reason for the Raiders second half resurgence this season. The wideout's production has gotten better each and every week. Thru the teams thirteen games this season, he has caught 25 TD passes, good for 2nd in the league, and is averaging more then 13 yards per reception.

WR Jimmy Conner-Odessa Roughnecks

Despite his team's lopsided win-loss ratio, Conner has been a star. He leads the IFL in receptions with 85, and in total receiving yards with 1030 thru 13 games this season.

WR James Walton-Billings Outlaws

The scoring factory that is the Billings Outlaws is led by touchdown machine James Walton. He leads the IFL in touchdown receptions with 32 in the teams 13 games and has 831 receiving yards.

WR Deangelo Woodie-El Paso Generals

Not only is Woodie a receiving threat, but dangerous in the return game as well. In thirteen games, he has accumulated 1017 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns. He also is among the league leaders in All-Purpose yards averaging over 150 per game.

RB Darius Fudge-Wichita Wild

Fudge may be one of the toughest players in the league to bring down. Thru the first 17 weeks of the season, he is leading the IFL in rushing yards with 936 and has found the endzone 31 times. He averages over 67 yards per game on the ground.

RB Sean Treasure-Sioux Falls Storm

The shifty back is 2nd in the IFL in rushing yards per game with over 61. In addition, Treasure has crossed the goal line 21 times via the ground and is 2nd in the IFL with 729 yards.

RB Darryl Overton-Maryland Maniacs

Since starting the season 0-2, the Maniacs closed their season on a 10-2 run. Overton, has been their main scoring threat. He is in the top five in scoring per game, averaging over 11 points. Overall he has rushed for 15 touchdowns and caught 9 more.

DB Joey Longoria-Abilene Ruff Riders

The Ruff Rider defense has this team looking to make noise in the playoffs. Longoria has made it difficult to pass on them by intercepting eleven passes this season, a league best, and returning one for a score.

DB Laroche Jackson-Bloomington Extreme

The do-it-all defensive back has been a nightmare for Quarterbacks and special teams units alike. He has intercepted nine passes this season and returned two of those for touchdowns. On special teams he has returned a missed field goal for a TD as well as two kickoffs for touchdowns.

DE Michael Landry-Billings Outlaws

The IFL's second leading sack artist thru Week 17 is no stranger to getting at the quarterback. Landry having played in only ten games has 12 sacks to his credit with losses of over 80 yards. That is an average of 1.2 per game. He is also among the leader's in tackles-for-loss with 16.5.

DE Ron Ellington-El Paso Generals

The Generals Defensive lineman is not only a proven run stuffer, but has done a great job at getting to the passer as well. He is currently 3rd in the league in sacks with 11.5 and is among the leader's in tackles-for-loss with 17.5.
