Oakland Roots News Release
Oakland Roots are coming off of a draw on Wednesday night vs. Sacramento Republic. The game ended in a 0-0 tie as Goalkeeper Taylor Bailey picked up his first clean sheet in his first ever USL appearance.
Roots have now not scored since Jeremy Bokila scored in the 66th minute of the June 2nd match vs Sacramento being kept scoreless in four consecutive games. Saturday will mark the start of a three game homestand for Oakland Roots at Las Positas College in Livermore, California.
Las Vegas is currently in 6th place in a tight Pacific Division race with 10 points from 10 games. Both Cal Jennings and Danny Musovski have scored three times each for the Lights tied for the team lead.
