Rochester Lancers News Release

(Rochester, NY) -- The Rochester Lancers today announced that over $2,000 has been raised in just over a week's time for the families of the West Webster FD through a limited edition t-shirt sale. In advance of a special game tribute for all first responders at this Sunday's 1pm home game, the Lancers are selling custom t-shirts with the patches of West Webster FD, Webster Police, and 9-1-1 Dispatchers.

There will be a special tribute on the field prior to kickoff, including first responders, Joseph Hofstetter, Gates Keystone Club Police Pipe and Drums, fire department band consisting of over 100 members, and a special tribute jersey that will be worn by the Lancers to be released later this week. The jerseys will then be auctioned after the game. The Lancers expect to raise well over $10,000 at Sunday's game. ALL proceeds from t-shirt sales, game promos, "Pass the Boot," and jersey auction will benefit the families of the West Webster FD.
