
Lancers Welcome Syracuse to Blue Cross Arena

(Rochester, NY)... After a brief two-game road stint in Baltimore last weekend, the Rochester Lancers return home to face the Syracuse Silver Knights this Saturday, January 12 beginning at 7:00 p.m.
The match will mark the fourth meeting of the season between the two clubs, with Rochester looking for their first win against their Thruway rivals. Entering the match the Lancers are a half game out of playoff contention while Syracuse is a game behind Rochester in the standings.
Rochester's Doug Miller (58 points) continues to lead the MISL in scoring, however Missouri's Byron Alvarez is closing that gap and is just two points behind the Rochester veteran. Syracuse's Neto ranks third with 45 points. Following the game the Lancers will embark on a three game road trip that will take them to Wichita, Missouri and Baltimore, before returning home on January 27 against the Missouri Comets.
