
Lancers Support Local Causes Before Sunday Showdown

(Rochester, NY) - The Rochester Lancers have stayed busy supporting the community, continuing with their flagship youth program the "Eat Right, Treat Right" Challenge, Learn with the Lancers, and supporting local non-profits. To date this season, the Lancers have reached over 20,000 children in the Rochester community with their positive messaging.
The Lancers will be spending time this week at East Irondequoit Middle School and World of Inquiry School as a part of their Learn with the Lancers school program. In partnership with Bryant & Stratton College, Lancer players visit local schools stressing the importance of education.
"Our community programs are a big part of what we do as an organization," said Rich Randall, Lancers Vice President. "We do as much as we can to immerse our players and staff into local events and initiatives."

Forward Andrew Hoxie will miss the duration of the season due to a hamstring injury.
The Rochester Lancers host top seed Milwaukee Wave (11-2) Sunday, February 9 at 3pm at the Blue Cross Arena. The first 1,000 fans will receive free thunder sticks, courtesy of U of R Medicine.
