(Rochester, NY) - The Rochester Lancers today announced the addition of Marco Terminesi, former leading goal scorer, two-time league champion, and First Team League All-Star for three consecutive seasons with the Milwaukee Wave. He holds the Wave's record for most consecutive games with a point.

The 29 year old Italian-Canadian will bring his scoring prowess to the Lancers 2014/15 season. As a forward for the Wave from 2008-2011, he led the team with 51 goals, 37 assists, and 159 total points.

Terminesi, one of the game's most sought after indoor players, also spent time with the Minnesota Thunder and the Montreal Impact as a forward. He played his college career at the University of Louisville, where he earned the Conference USA All-Freshman Team in his debut year, and was the 2008 Big East Scholar Athlete of the Year. In 2009, he represented Canada for World Cup Qualifying for the National Beach Soccer team and was selected to the Canadian National Futsal Team for World Cup Qualifying in 2012.

"Marco was the best pure finisher I ever played with," said Josh Rife, Lancers Head Coach and former teammate. "He always raises his game in the critical moments and never backs away from the spotlight. This signing is huge for the club and will make a big statement in the MASL."

Terminesi has been signed to a one year contract. He will wear number 23.
