
Lancers Name Soccer Legend Assistant Coach

(Rochester, NY) -- The Rochester Lancers today announced that soccer legend Doug Miller was named player/Assistant Coach. "Doug is one of the best teachers in the game and his professionalism on and off the field will help bring our young players to the next level," said Lancers CEO Salvatore "SoccerSam" Fantauzzo.
Miller joins Head Coach Jim Hesch as his Assistant Coach for the 2012/2013 season.
Lancers also announce the signing of Costa Rican National Team player, Luis Enrique. As a talented midfielder, Enrique faced international powerhouses such as Brazil and Colombia in International Futsal play.
He will be joining returning signed players Patrick Hannigan, Gavin McInerney, Brayton Knapp, Kyle Manscuk, Jake Schindler, Elliot Fauske, Jeremy Ortiz, Gary Boughton, Jefferson Dargout, Mauricio Salles, Doug Miller, Rey "Boom Boom" Martinez and new Lancers Steve Basso, Garret Pettis, Troy Cole, Pedrinho, Ivory Washington, Danny Earls and Andy Tiedt.
Roster players include Marc Sotile, Bora Turgut, Paul Craig, John Grabowski, George Morningstar, Dan Holowaty, Alan McGreal, Zack Bowman and Brett Allen.
