Lancers Hold World Cup Contest for Charity

(Rochester, NY) - The Rochester Lancers announced today a fan contest to take place throughout the duration of the World Cup. In honor of this year's World Cup, the contest winner will receive $2,014 and the Lancers will also donate $2,014 to a local charity of their choice.
Fans can enter this contest by simply commenting to the Lancers Facebook page with their winning prediction for the World Cup. Their entry must include the winning country, total goals for, and total goals against for the tournament.
Fans can submit their entry at www.facebook.com/RLancers. The deadline to enter is Monday, June 16 at 6pm. If there are multiple winners, the Lancers will hold a live, random drawing of the finalists. Only one entry per person will be accepted.
The 2014 World Cup starts tomorrow as host country Brazil takes on Croatia at 4pm.
