
Lancers Face Rival Syracuse Friday at Home

(Rochester, NY) - The Rochester Lancers will host third place Syracuse Silver Knights this Friday, January 17 at 7pm. The Silver Knights (7-3) come to the Blue Cross Arena following a win against fourth place Missouri on January 10.
Rochester's own Marc Sotile, will get the start in goal for the Lancers. Sotile has been the starting goalkeeper for the Lancers2, leading them to back to back championship seasons. This will be his second pro start, as he was flown into Milwaukee last weekend on short notice when Lancers goalkeeper Gavin McInerney experienced a foot injury.
The Lancers have released goalkeeper Patrick Hannigan, who played 35 of 62 games for the Lancers in the past three seasons, for disciplinary reasons. Defender Paul Craig has been released from the team to pursue international outdoor soccer opportunities. Forward Bato has also been released.
The Rochester Lancers host league rival, Syracuse this Friday at 7pm. The first 500 kids 12 and under will receive a free Lancers megaphone. Kids 12 and under are FREE! To order tickets, or for more information, visit www.rlancers.com.
