Rochester Lancers News Release

(Rochester, NY) - The Rochester Lancers today announced the return of the Lancers Head Coach Doug Miller and Assistant Coach Rey Martinez.

The most successful Lancers coaching tag team to date will be back for another season. They brought the team to their best record since 2011 with a 10-10 finish. After a thrilling postseason series with rival Syracuse, they also brought the team to their first ever playoff victory and nearly defeated Baltimore in the Eastern Division Finals.

Miller, the 2012-13 MISL League MVP and leading scorer reached the playoffs in just his first stint as Head Coach. With the help of his coaching staff that includes former Lancers player and fan-favorite Rey Martinez, Billy Ginther, John Berardicurti, and Travis Johns, he expects even more success for the 2015-16 campaign.

"Our goal this past season was to win an MASL Championship," said Doug Miller, Lancers Head Coach. "We narrowly missed that, but I am proud of the adversity we overcame as a team and the growth which will put us in an even better position for next season."

Season tickets are now on sale. If ordered by May 1, fans will receive a $15 discount per ticket. To order tickets, or for full player bios, visit www.rlancers.com.
