
Lancers & Dick Ide Launch Creative Charity Campaign

(Rochester, NY) -- The Lancers and the Dick Ide Family of Dealerships today announced a new charity program partnering with Camp Good Days and Special Times. The official name of the program, the Dick Ide Family of Dealerships Good Toss for Good Days, will kick off this Saturday and run for the remainder of the season at all Lancers home games.
The Rochester Lancers also announced a special ceremony for Section V Boys and Girls Soccer finalists along with Section V Senior All-Stars to be held on the field prior to the Saturday, December 1st Lancers game at 7pm. Holley Boys Varsity Soccer Head Coach Dan Orbaker will serve as the Lancers Honorary Captain of the game and will be presented a special gift from the Lancers for his 400th win. Pre-game ceremonies will begin at 6:30pm.
To enter the Dick Ide Family of Dealerships Good Toss for Good Days, fans can purchase mini soccer balls that will then be thrown at halftime in an attempt to get them in an open sunroof of a new VW beetle. All fans that make the shot will be rewarded with prizes immediately that evening and all proceeds will benefit Camp Good Days and Special Times.
The Lancers will face the MISL's second ranked Missouri Comets Saturday, December 1st at 7pm. Kids 12 and under are FREE. Active military members are also FREE. Pre-Game Happy Hour will feature $2 beers from 5:30-7pm. College and High School students are only $5 with student ID. The Lancers will play at the Syracuse Silver Knights Sunday, December 2 at 4pm.
