Lakeland Raiders, Lakeland Center Sign 3-Year Extension Agreement

LAKELAND, FL - Team Owner/Head Coach Michael Mink, Team Owner Robert Tannenbaum, Lakeland Center Executive Director Michael LaPan and Lakeland Mayor Gow Fields have agreed to a 3-year contract extension beginning with the upcoming 2013 season securing The Lakeland Center as the home of the Ultimate Indoor Football League (UIFL) Lakeland Raiders. The team which first began play at The Lakeland Center in 2012, its inaugural season, was under a one-year agreement. Playing in the 12-team league, the Lakeland Raiders finished the season 7-7 losing in the Southern Conference Championship game to the Florida Tarpons 60-29. The Raiders 2013 season kicks-off in March and 6 home game season ticket packages starting as low as $35 are now on- sale and can be purchased by calling 1-855-RAIDER1 or for more information visit www.lakelandraiders.com. Also new for 2013, the first 500 season ticket holders receive complimentary parking for the entire regular season.
