LAKELAND, FL- The Lakeland Raiders have been working diligently for the past few months getting the team ready for the 2012 season. Owner Michael Mink has coined his mission to make this team successful and prosperous by his hard work and dedication to not only the team but the city of Lakeland. "All In!" is what Michael tells some people because he is putting everything he has to make sure the Raiders win a championship and are in Lakeland for many years ahead. Some may see Michael around town with his Lakeland Raider wrapped Dodge Durango, courtesy of official partner Sign-a-rama.

Raiders Operations Manager's comments on the head coaching position, "Today is a great day for our organization and for the team. I have received many emails& phone calls from coaches all around the United States that were interested in our head coaching position. I analyzed everyone who applied and talked on the phone for many hours in deliberation of who would be a great leader for this team." The Lakeland Raiders are proud to announce that Michael Mink will be the head coach for the 2012 season.

Michael Mink brings decades of football knowledge to the Raiders, serving as the Co-Founder and Co-Owner of the American Indoor Football Association for 5 years. During his tenure, he ran operations for the League and served as owner, General Manager, and Head Coach of teams in the AIFA. His head coaching jobs consist of the Montgomery Maulers, Carolina Speed, Ogden Knights, and the Yakima Valley Warriors. He was also the head coach for the original Gulf Coast Raiders which led his team to a 9-1 record. Michael's career coaching record is 37-22 and has helped teams make the playoffs four out of six times. Mike has moved up over 66 players to higher level football leagues such as the Canadian Football League, Arena Football League and the National Football League during his tenure. Mink, a Tampa native, is ready to lead the way and showcase some of the top local talent in Lakeland and the surrounding areas. Michael is also a member of the minor league football hall of fame. "I have had some good athletes on my teams previously is the most talented I have ever had. I am eager to start coaching these men and get them ready for a championship season" commented Mink.

The Lakeland Raiders' season tickets are on sale now and with prices ranging from $59 to $140. For fans wanting the "Ultimate In-The-Game-Experience," lower level boxes, with seating for up to 10 fans, are available for $3500.
