
Lafayette Aviators Take out Chillicothe Paints with Help from Kennedy, 8-6

The Lafayette Aviators (12-12) beat the Chillicothe Paints (12-11) 8-6 in seven innings on Thursday at Loeb Stadium behind Evan Kennedy, who went 2-4.
He singled in the first innings and tripled in the second inning.
Bradley Boss racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Chillicothe Paints. He homered in the first inning and doubled in the sixth inning.
Kellan Elsbury got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Elsbury struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.
Kevin Zullo ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 1 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.
