LA Galaxy II to Take on Arizona United SC in COS Pro Soccer Kickoff

CARSON, Calif. (Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014) - LA Galaxy II will participate in the COS Pro Soccer Kickoff held by 2015 USL PRO expansion club Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC. Los Dos will take on Arizona United SC on Saturday, Oct. 18 at San Creek Stadium in Colorado Springs, Colo. with kickoff set for 5 p.m. PT.

LA Galaxy II and Arizona United both completed their inaugural season in USL PRO during the 2014 season. Led by head coach Curt Onalfo, Galaxy II went undefeated against Arizona in their four matches, earning a 2-0-2 record, while finishing the 2014 USL PRO season in third place, advancing all the way to the semifinal match of the 2014 USL PRO Playoffs.

During the club's visit to Colorado, Galaxy II will also receive a private tour of the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs courtesy of owner Philip Anschutz of Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG). Opened in 1918, the Broadmoor Hotel is the longest-running consecutive winner of both the AAA Five-Diamond and Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star awards.
