LA Galaxy II Open Tryout to be Held January 31 and February 1

CARSON, Calif. (Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014) - LA Galaxy II announced today that the club will hold its second-annual Open Tryout Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, 2015 for a chance to join the team for the upcoming 2015 USL PRO season. Members from the LA Galaxy and LA Galaxy II technical staff, who will be on hand for tryouts, will select a minimum of two players to trial with Los Dos for the preseason for the opportunity to play in the club's 2015 campaign.

With limited space available, participants are encouraged to register as soon as possible. Players interested can register by visiting here.

The Open Tryout will start at 8 a.m. PT on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015. Exact schedule and game times for each participant will be sent out prior to the start date. Any participants' flights out of Los Angeles following tryouts should be arranged for no earlier than 7 p.m. PT on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015.

In addition to the registration fee of $175, participants are responsible for all airfare, incurred travel costs, food and transportation. Registration fees may be paid via credit or debit card. There will be no refunds for canceled registration. LA Galaxy II will not assist with Visas or letters of invitation.

Players should come prepared for the tryouts with their own cleats, socks, gloves, shin guards or any other equipment related to their position.

WHAT: LA Galaxy II Open Tryout

WHO: Aspiring male professional soccer players, ages 18 and over

WHERE: StubHub Center - 18400 S. Avalon Blvd. Carson, CA 90746

WHEN: Saturday, January 31, 2015 & Sunday, March 2, 2015

FEE: $175 per player

FORMAT: Each player is guaranteed two 60-minute full-field matches, with one match per day. A minimum of two participants will be invited for trial with LA Galaxy II following the tryouts.
