
LA Galaxy and MLS Name Six Prospects to Represent Club at Sueño MLS 2015

LOS ANGELES (May 11, 2015) - Major League Soccer and LA Galaxy announced today the names of five talented young field players and one El Portero Allstate finalist who will represent the club at the National Final of Sueño MLS 2015 - Presented by Allstate Insurance Company. They will be joined by the six finalists selected last week at the Orlando City SC trials, and six more players to be selected this weekend at the Chicago Fire trials. Nearly 1,000 hopefuls registered to participate in the LA Galaxy trials, which took place this past weekend in Bell Gardens, Calif.
The nationally-televised player search is showcased on Univision Deportes' República Deportiva, the popular weekly sports entertainment program that chronicles the tryouts in a "reality show within a show" format.

Now in its ninth year, Sueño MLS 2015 - Presented by Allstate Insurance Company is being staged by three Major League Soccer teams, including first-time host Orlando City SC, as well as returning hosts Chicago Fire and LA Galaxy. Up to 400 tryout spots are made available in each city on a first come, first serve basis. Hopefuls can register at www.SuenoMLS.com.
In addition, the Allstate "Good Hands" top goalkeeper award, El Portero Allstate, will be presented for the fifth consecutive year. One goalkeeper at each of the three local tryouts will be selected as a local goalkeeper finalist and will compete in the National Finals for the opportunity to be named El Portero Allstate and train with an MLS team. El Portero Allstate will be selected in conjunction with the winner of Sueño MLS 2015 - Presented by Allstate Insurance Company, and will be mentored by Mexican goalkeeping legend MartÃn "El Pulpo" Zúñiga.
