Orlando Predators News Release
orlando - The Orlando Predators are proud to announce current Bright House Sports Network college football analyst and former UCF quarterback Kyle Israel has joined the Predators radio broadcast team as the color commentator. He will be broadcasting the remaining away games with Shot Doctor from 740 The Game.
"Orlando is my hometown. I'm thrilled to be broadcasting for the Orlando Predators," said Israel. "I'm a huge fan of Arena Football as well, so I'm ecstatic to be taking on this role."
An Orlando native, Israel graduated from University High School in 2003. He attained many honors in high school. Among them were leading his school to its first winning season in 12 years, being named Orange County's offensive player of the year, and being dubbed one of the top prep quarterbacks in the state of Florida.
After graduating high school, Israel had a choice of either going to FSU, UCF, Texas A&M, or Mississippi State. Choosing to attend UCF would be one decision he would not regret, he helped pilot the Knights to numerous victories, including a 10 win season and their first conference championship. iIsrael majored in radio/television communications.
After graduating college, Israel had the opportunity to play overseas in Germany with the Dresden Monarchs. He considers it to be one of his best decisions aside from attending UCF. After his one year contract expired with the Monarchs, Israel was offered a new deal, but kindly declined the offer and returned to Orlando.
In the spring of 2008, Bright House Networks contracted Israel as their new college football analyst on Bright House Sports Network. He retains that position today. Whether Israel is on the field, or broadcasting, one thing that is for sure is his passion is for football is unquestionable!
