Kyle Gajewski named Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week

Toronto, ON - The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds' goaltender Kyle Gajewski is the Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday April 13 after a perfect 3-0 week that included a 1.33 goals against average and .957 save percentage.
Gajewski started the week with 34 saves and was the first star in a 2-1 win over the Guelph Storm in Game 3 of their Western Conference playoff series on Monday. He followed up with 27 saves and was the third star in a 3-2 win in Game 4 on Tuesday and then made 27 saves in a 4-1 win in the series finale on Thursday.
Gajewski, a 21-year-old native of London, is 8-1 with a 1.89 goals against average and .936 save percentage in nine playoff games. He was 39-16-1-3 with a 2.44 goals against average and .913 save percentage in 60 regular season games this season. This is the third time this season that Gajewski has won the award.
