STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Cougars, of the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL-Pro), proudly announce the renewal of their broadcast and sponsorship agreement with 1420 KSTN for the third consecutive season. All 20 regular season matches will air on 1420 KSTN with Greg Young also returning as the club's official play-by-play voice for the third consecutive season.
"1420 KSTN is the radio home of major league sports in Stockton with the Professional Arena Soccer League, Stockton Cougars," said KSTN Radio General Manager Robert LaRue. "We are proud to include them with the Oakland A's in addition to local minor league and collegiate sports such as the Thunder, Lightning, Ports, and UOP Athletics on our broadcast line up."
1420 KSTN-AM carries a carefully crafted blend of Rock, Talk, and Sports with music from the likes of the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and the Beatles to more contemporary artists such as Sheryl Crow, Lenny Kravitz and Nickelback. In the mornings, they carry Mancow's Morning Madhouse, a hard hitting current events program. The station is also home to University of Pacific Athletics, Oakland A's Baseball, Stockton Ports Baseball, Stockton Thunder Hockey and Stockton Lightning Arena Football. KSTN-FM, also known as La Poderosa 107.3, features popular Mexican artists with live, local hosts. Artists include: Bando Recodo, Ana Gabriel, Los Tigres Del Norte, Vicente Fernandez and Diana Reyes. The Cougars broadcasts will be promoted on both stations, in English and Spanish.

"Both the Cougars and 1420 KSTN are locally owned and I'm happy to see both groups working together to promote soccer in Stockton. KSTN is the radio home of all Stockton sports and I'm proud to see the Cougars be represented on their airwaves."
Each Cougars match will also simulcast via internet streaming audio on www.stocktoncougars.net.
The Cougars open their fourth season of professional arena soccer at Stockton Arena on October 25 against the Colorado Lightning at 7:15 p.m. Season, individual and group tickets are available by contacting the Cougars office at (209) 373-1550 or online by visiting www.stocktoncougars.net.
