
Kool & the Gang to headline ArenaBowl XIX postgame celebration

LAS VEGAS â World-renown R&B group KOOL & THE GANG will perform at the ArenaBowl XIX postgame show on the AFL championship field in Las Vegas' Thomas & Mack Center on Sunday, June 12, the AFL announced today.
Kool & The Gang, the group with a sound that has influenced the music of three generations, has sold over 70 million albums worldwide. Songs like Celebration, Cherish, Jungle Boogie, Summer Madness and Open Sesame have won two Grammy Awards, seven American Music Awards, 25 Top 10 R&B hits, nine Top 10 Pop hits, and 31 Gold and Platinum albums. The Group is currently signed to Sanctuary Music Group and will be releasing new projects in Fall 2005.
The ArenaBowl XIX Las Vegas postgame show will be produced by WLW Entertainment, Inc.
Kool & the Gang will follow the on-field presentation of the Foster ArenaBowl Trophy by Commissioner David Baker to the winning team.
