Knoxville Summit Changes Owner

Nashville TN-The Knoxville Summit women's football team, one of the 37 teams in the National Women's Football Association (NWFA) has announced the sale of the team to Dead Reckoning Sports Promotions, LLC. The NWFA which was formed in August, 2000 is the largest women's full contact football league in the world.

Dead Reckoning's CEO, Jenn White, played for the Summit last season and when the team was put up for sale, saw a great opportunity to use her media and marketing skills to the team. "I'm really excited about being the owner of this team and look forward to being a part of the NWFA. It's the greatest league in the world for women that want to play full contact football and I'm gassed about making the Summit one of the best teams in the league," she states.

In order to kick off their upcoming season, The Knoxville Summit will be hosting an exhibition game against the Baltimore Burn Saturday, March 29th at 12 pm at Halls High School.

Gates will open at 11am for the exhibition game, and it will be open to the public and media. "This will be a great preview to the season which begins with the Summits first game on April 12th in Atlanta," states Jenn White, Summit owner. Tickets are $5 at the gate on game day. The Knoxville Summit holds their practices at Halls practice field on Saturdays from 11am -4pm and on Sundays from 5pm-7pm.
