Knoxville Noise To Participate In Talent Loaded Pro-AM

The Knoxville Noise will be playing in the 2006 Kentucky Pro-Am Tournament starting on July 6th. The Noise first game will be at 9:30 pm at Iroquois High School in Louisville, KY, against Louisville's Finest. The Finest are made up of former LSU Stars Lamont Roland, BJ Flynn and Tony Williams of Louisville, Brandon Bender of Robert Morris, and several other very good former college players.

There are 28 teams participating from all over the Midwest and Southeast. The list of superstar players from the collegian to the Professional ranks is impressive. NBA Players include, Greg Buckner (Denver Nuggets), Trenton Hassell (Minnesota Timberwolves), and Kendrick Perkins (Boston Celtics). Some of the big name former NBA players and European Professionals are as follows: Dante Jones (MSU), Gary Trent (Ohio Univ), Chris Porter (Auburn), BB Walden (South Florida), Damon Flint (Cincinnati), Just to name a few.

The Noise will bring the following players from their tryout camp to participate in the tournament:

Raiteri says "the quality of players in these tournament teams is excellent, but so is the Noise; needless to say, we expect very competitive play this week and look forward to the games".
