Knights Face Bounce-Back Game

May 21, 2009 - American Indoor Football Association (AIFA)
Ogden Knights News Release

This will be the third meeting between the New Mexico Wildcats and the Ogden Knights.

The Knights are recovering from a devastating loss on Monday night against the Western Conference champs, Wyo- ming Calvary. After being away for five weeks the Knights pressed to hard at home to impress the home town fans. This resulted in a disappointing performance by the entire squad and almost every aspect of the game. What is great about this game is the Knights have a chance to redeem themselves to the hometown crowd against the New Mexico Wildcats.

The Wildcats 1-7 narrowly lost to the Knights in the last meeting, 51-49. Quarterback B.J. Hall is still the primary target for the Knights defense in it's quest for the teams second victory. This game will go down to the wire as both squads are tied for third place in the Western Division. The Knights have been working hard revamping their defense the entire week as they prepare for an enthusiastic athletically talented Wildcat team.

This will be the first of two meetings at the Golden Spike Event Center for the Knights against the New Mexico at home. Saturday night is Fan Appreciation Night as the first 50 fans will have the chance to welcome the Knights on the field during introductions. The Knights return home to play their I-15 rival, the Utah Valley Thunder, on June 13th at the Golden Spike Arena which will be Military Appreciation night.. GO KNIGHTS!
