
KiXX Welcome Massachusetts to Spectrum for T-Shirt Night

Philadelphia, PA, February 6, 2009 - The Philadelphia KiXX (5-5) will welcome the Massachusetts Twisters (1-9) to the Wachovia Spectrum for the clubs' third meeting of the season on Saturday, February 7. The first 3,000 fans to enter the gates will receive a complimentary T-Shirt, courtesy of NBC 10; the T-Shirt will include the top 10 KiXX memories at the Spectrum. Game-time is slated for 7:05 pm ET with the doors opening at 6:00 pm ET.
The KiXX earned the victory in each of the previous three meetings between the two clubs, including a 34-11 in the National Indoor Soccer League (NISL) opener on November 15. Forward Neil Krause was credited with the first goal in League history, but Cape May Court House native Anthony Maher stole the show, registering a game-best nine points on the evening. The KiXX then earned an 18-7 win in the team's first trip to the Eastern States Coliseum on December 13, courtesy of eight points apiece from Maher and Hewerton Moreira. In the most recent meeting on January 10, midfielder Ptah Myers knocked-in a game-high eight points en route to a 28-6 Philadelphia win. Jeff Deren paced the hosting Twisters with four.
Philadelphia KiXX group and single-game tickets are on sale by calling the club's ticket office at 1-888-888-KiXX (5499). The KiXX also offer a Family 4-PaXX, four lower-level tickets, four hot dogs and sodas, for the low price of $69 and a Birthday Package priced at $24.90 per ticket. Single-game tickets are now available through the KiXX and the Wachovia Center Box Office, as well as online at www.comcasttix.com and at select Acme Market locations.
