KiXX open training camp Wednesday, October 29

Philadelphia, PA, October 28, 2008 - The Philadelphia KiXX announced today that the club will officially open training camp on Wednesday, October 29. The KiXX will train beginning at 9:00am ET at the club's official practice facility, Tri-State Sports, located at 63 Concord Road in Aston, PA; directions are listed below and available online at www.tristatesports.com.

The Meet the Team Party will take place on Thursday, November 6 at Tri-State Sports. The night's festivities will include a full-team scrimmage vs. the Baltimore Blast beginning at 7:00pm and a post-game autograph session. The event is open to all members of the media and KiXX season ticket holders and sponsors, with media availability immediately following the team's practice session. Philadelphia's ownership and management staff members will also be on-hand to field questions from both the media and all fans in attendance. Light food and beverage will be served as well.

The KiXX will host the Rockford Rampage in the team's season opener on Saturday, November 15. Game time at the historic Wachovia Spectrum is set for 7:05pm ET. All fans in attendance will receive a complimentary 2008-09 Philadelphia KiXX Schedule Magnet.

Philadelphia KiXX season tickets and 6-PaXX mini-plans are on sale now by calling the club's ticket office at 1-888-888-KiXX (5499). Season ticket holders will receive invitations to KiXX events like the Meet the Team Party and Meet the Team Luncheon. Single-game tickets are now available through the KiXX and the Wachovia Center Box Office, as well as online at www.comcasttix.com and at select Acme Market locations in PA and NJ.

Directions to Tri-State Sports:

From Delaware County: Route 452 South or Dutton's Mill Road to Concord Road in Aston. Turn left on Concord Road and proceed one-two miles to Tri-State Sports on the right. Alternatively, Route 476 south to I-95 and follow directions from Philadelphia below.

From West Chester: Route 202 South to Route 1 North then Route 322 East. Exit at Route 452 North and proceed approximately one mile to Dutton Mill Road and turn right. At next light, turn right on Concord Road. Tri-State is one mile on the right. Driving time is approximately 20 minutes.

From Philadelphia and North: I-95 South to Exit 3A Route 322 towards West Chester. Exit on to Route 452 North. At the second traffic light, turn right onto Dutton Mill Road. At next light, turn right on Concord Road. Tri-State is one mile on the right. Driving time from South Philadelphia is 15-20 minutes.

From Wilmington and South: I-95 North to Route 452 North. Proceed approximately 2 miles to Dutton's Mill Road and turn right. At next light, turn right on Concord Road. Tri-State is approximately one mile on the right. Driving time is 15 minutes.

From New Jersey: Cross the Commodore Barry Bridge on Route 322 West. At the base of the bridge follow signs for I-95 to West Chester, but exit right on to Concord Road before reaching I-95 South. Proceed one mile to Tri-State on the left just after the I-95 Industrial Park. Driving time from the New Jersey side of the bridge is five minutes.
