KiXX Host 'Shirt off Your Back' Night with Proceeds Benefitting CMN

Philadelphia, PA, February 18, 2009 - The Philadelphia KiXX announced today that the team will hold a live post-game auction of all the team's game-worn uniforms after the club's contest versus the Rockford Rampage on Saturday, February 21. All proceeds from the auction will benefit The Children's Miracle Network at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Game-time is scheduled for 7:05 pm ET with the doors opening at 6:00 pm ET.
"We are thrilled to partner with the KiXX for this fund-raiser," stated Robin Valentino, Director, Children's Miracle Network at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. "The team's commitment to helping hospitalized kids is heartwarming."
In addition to the uniform from each KiXX player, the auction will include various sports memorabilia and cultural attractions including a Philadelphia Experience Package that includes complimentary dinner, tickets to a sporting/cultural event, and hotel reservation. The items will first be available through a silent auction during the game and select items, including each KiXX jersey, will be available in a live-post game auction.
Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals across North America. The hospitals are able to utilize the funding provided by the organization to provide life-saving pediatric care, education, and research.
Philadelphia KiXX group and single-game tickets are on sale by calling the club's ticket office at 1-888-888-KiXX (5499). The KiXX also offer a Family 4-PaXX, four lower-level tickets, four hot dogs and sodas, for the low price of $69 and a Birthday Package priced at $24.90 per ticket. Single-game tickets are now available through the KiXX and the Wachovia Center Box Office, as well as online at www.comcasttix.com and at select Acme Market locations in PA and NJ.
