Philadelphia KiXX News Release

Philadelphia, PA, March 6, 2009 - The Philadelphia KiXX embark on a two-game road trip, their last two road dates of the regular season, this weekend. Philadelphia will kick-off the back-to-back set with a visit to the 1st Mariner Arena to battle the top-seeded Baltimore Blast on Saturday, March 7. Game-time is scheduled for 7:35 pm ET. The series concludes versus the Rockford Rampage at the MetroCentre on Sunday, March 8 and will kick-off at 6:05 pm ET. Both contests will be available live via webcast at www.wmssfm.com.

Philadelphia enters the back-to-back weekend with an 8-6 overall record and holding a one-half of a game lead over the second-seeded Monterrey La RaZa (7-6) who is in action tonight in Baltimore. Saturday's matchup features the Interstate-95 rivals. The top-seeded Blast lead the season series, two games to one, but Philadelphia earned a 13-6 victory in the clubs' last meeting at the 1st Mariner Arena on January 31. Overall, the KiXX hold the all-time series lead 43-38 but only an 18-23 mark in Baltimore.

The KiXX have a chance to clinch a playoff spot pending the weekend's outcome. With a win in Rockford (7-8) on Sunday, the club will secure the tiebreaker over the Rampage, thus clinching a position into the postseason. The hosts will not go down lightly, however, as all three previous contests have been decided by a combined score of five points including a 10-8 overtime win for the KiXX on March 1.

Philadelphia KiXX group and single-game tickets are on sale by calling the club's ticket office at 1-888-888-KiXX (5499). The KiXX also offer a Family 4-PaXX, four lower-level tickets, four hot dogs and sodas, for the low price of $69 and a Birthday Package priced at $24.90 per ticket. Single-game tickets are now available through the KiXX and the Wachovia Center Box Office, as well as online at www.comcasttix.com and at select Acme Market locations.
