Beasley quickly responded (4:14) with his second notch of the evening on a feed from teammate Enrique Tovar to regain Rockford's two-point advantage, 4-2.

Jorge Valle and Geison Moura extended the Rampage lead, 8-2, with two-point tallies at 3:15 and 4:03, respectively, of the second stanza. Beasley completed his hat trick with his third goal of the contest on a dish from former KiXX midfielder Gary Brooks at 6:30 of the period.
