Kitchener Rangers News Release
The Kitchener Rangers announced today that forward Dylan Seitz has committed to an Ontario Hockey League standard player agreement with the club. Seitz was the team's 15th round pick (291st overall) in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection.
The 6'01, 170lb Eden, NY native was drafted from the Nichols School Varsity Prep program and spent the 2015-16 season as a member of the OJHL's Buffalo Jr. Sabres. In 53 regular season games played, he registered 13 goals and 16 assists for 29 points along with 99 PIMs. He added one goal in five playoff games with the Sabres.
Rangers General Manager Murray Hiebert says Seitz brings to the table an offensive upside as well as strong work ethic and grit.
"Dylan had a great season in Buffalo," said Hiebert. "He put up impressive numbers for a rookie in a Tier II league. He was coached by former Rangers alumnus John Tucker, and plays a hard-nosed, two-way game."
