
Killer Bees place Casey on 14-day injured reserve

Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release
Hidalgo, Texas --- The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees (Central Hockey League) today announced that center Joe Casey has been placed on the 14-day injured reserve list retroactive to Dec. 10.
Casey has appeared in all 21 Bees games this season and has posted seven points (3-4-7).
The Bees travel to Amarillo this Friday and Austin on Saturday before returning home Sunday at 4 p.m. vs. Corpus Christi. Catch each game live on ESPN Radio 1240 AM.
This Sunday, the first 1000 kids 12 and under also receive a Mr. Potato Head Killer Bee Hockey player courtesy of Clear Channel and Presidio Shopping Plaza.
Don't forget to bring a new or gently loved stuffed animal for the KGBT Channel 4 Teddy Bear Toss! When the Bees score their first goal of the game, toss your teddy bear on the ice. The bears will be collected and later distributed to needy kids throughout the Valley.
